Jeff Mishlove : Intuition Networker Financial Forecasting

Financial Forecasting

Posted on Feb 27th, 2006 by Jeff Mishlove : Intuition Networker Jeff Mishlove

One of my biggest interests is following the financial markets. Interestingly, until January 1999 (when I was 52 years old), I had no interest whatsoever in this area. It seemed about as far removed as could be from my major concerns with intuition, metaphysics and parapsychology.

I can remember the day when everything changed. We had just had a board meeting of the Intuition Network -- meeting at my house in San Rafael. And one board member, my dear friend Dean Brown (about whom I have blogged before), stayed overnight and spent the next day with me. The purpose of his visit was to communicate to me his abiding interest in the stock market. And that visit changed my life.

Of course, that was in the dayday of the last bull market. Dean had a "momentum" system for stock-picking that was taking off like a rocket. And, naturally, he got me very excited. Within a few weeks, I began following his system and watched my investments grow in value by tens of thousands of dollars.

Of course, making money was nice. But, now, many years later, I can say that I've lost a lot of money in the markets as well. Overall, I'm ahead -- but never as much as I had hoped I would be.

From a spiritual perspective, something shifted in me as a result of that day with Dean Brown. I began to realize that I could no longer create a dichotomy in my own mind between my "lofty" metaphysical interests, and the "crass" world of finance. I came to understand that, in a tantric sense, they are one in the same. I began to realize that the financial markets are the blood and muscles and bones of the planetary body of the human community. In a sense, I realized that the financial markets were sacred temples of the spirit -- just as the human body is also a sacred temple of the spirit.

At that point, I really plunged into things. I realized that it was not enough just to understand Dean's momentum system. I had to be able to understand other systems as well so that I could compare them. I began studying neural networks. The results were amazing, during that unusual period. Using a system called BioComp Profit, within a year, I turned a $50,000 trading account into $350,000. I was on cloud nine. I even went so far as to become certified as a Commodity Trading Advisor.

Even Dean Brown, who had experimented with neural networks back in the 1950s, was amazed with what I was doing.

Of course, then in February and March of 2000, something very unusual in the history of the financial markets occurred -- a major top and a major reversal. We shifted from bull market conditions to bear market conditions. I was still a novice, and I discovered to my dismay, that my neural network systems were pretty much all invalidated by the new conditions that were suddenly in place.

Since then, making money in the financial markets has never been so easy. Fortunately, I've been profitable overall. But, I've come to realize that watching the markets necessitates a lot of study and diligence. And, to a large degree it has remained a passion of mine. I love Bloomberg and CNBC. At one point, I even started a financial forecasting website -- with daily updates. And, while it has been inactive for years, I think that the posts I put up there are still valuable.

I wish I could create the time to continue those daily updates. But, my life is too full now with other priorities. Still, I hope, from time to time to use this blog as a forum for updating my interest in this area.

At the moment -- especially as I am planning to take a vacation in the Philippines in two days -- I am not watching the markets as closely as I sometimes do. I am long some momentum companies (based on Dean Brown's system that I still use). AAPL is a good example, these days, of a momentum play. And, I am invested in gold and silver mining companies -- plus GLD (gold) itself. My portfolio also contains a lot of oil and energy companies, plus ETFs based in foreign countries. And, as interest rates are rising, I have a healthy amount of funds in cash dollars. Still, probably my largest holdings right now are in real estate. Basically, these are all long-term strategies. So, I won't feel the need to watch them closely while I am traveling.

Anyhow, I am generally very happy to discuss the markets and financial forecasting with interested parties.

All of this is prelude to a future blog in which I will post information about the use of clairvoyant remote viewing and precognition in financial forecasting. That has been a big interest of mine over the years. The link above refers to a very successful pilot study that I was involved in, back in 1994-5. Yes, and Dean and Wendy Brown, were also involved. Along with Russell Targ and Jane Katra. That study set the stage for much that has followed.

But, enough for now.

Interesting info!  I’ve just recently started almost-sorta-beginning-to-look-into the whole financial market stuff…I have no basis for anything in it, but I’m already starting to see the possibilities in the spiritual perspective you spoke of…hmm!

Thanks for sharing, that remote-viewing experiment’s fascinating!

Well stated! Thanks for making such a clear point about financial prosperity being something that can go hand-in-hand with spirituality… and thanks also for sharing so much of what’s going on in your life these days.

Yes, they (the guides) told me about this one! I honestly stumbled into this theme. I wondered if still had an interested in this. Actually, I hoped you had!

As far as I am concerned, the only one who can qualify or disqualify the appropriate use of psi in any form of manifestation is my own principle. I have not always believed that I would use psi-ability for this. I do not know why, it was ever an issue, but now just about everything feels okay to me as long as I hurt nor hinder any one in the process!
