The Nine Muses, are often found in the company of the God Apollo, when they entertain the other gods and goddesses on Mount Olympus. They are the source of inspiration to writers, scientists, musicians, dancers and artists. Here they are shown in an elaborate dance involving five radiant, rainbow yinyang images. The rainbow yinyangs symbolize the deeper intuitive essences that manifest through the Muses.
This image was created from a nineteenth century steel engraving. It is approximately 42" x 24". All Rainbow YinYang images are copyrighted by Jeffrey Mishlove.
